Happy Halloween

Sam and Madi were the most adorable princesses that I have ever seen for Halloween! It was great this year, Sam knew what she was doing and went after it...she knew to look for houses with their porch lights on (because those were the ones that give candy), and she loved ringing that doorbell and saying "trick-or-treat" the second that person opened the door. Madi was just taking it all in...a little unsure as to why we were going door to door, but loving the fact that the people at the doors gave her candy. Most of the time she would say "thank you" instead of "trick-or-treat" (yes, thank you before the candy). Sam was so into trick-or-treating that she didn't even care about opening the candy until we got home. Not Madi...she did what Sam has done in years past, she got a little candy in her bag now she has to have some! Mom had been in Austin for meetings the day before so she came in to go trick-or-treating with us! We had a great time. The only way it could have been any better was if Greg had been there with us!!!
