Daddy called first thing in the morning to wish Madison a Happy Birthday and to give the girls each a gift just from him. He sat near by on the floor (via computer) to watch them open their gifts. They are "Hug A Hero Dolls," from Hugahero.com. You can order many different items but these huggable Daddy Dolls are making their way into many children's arms with deployed parents. Aren't they adorable?
FYI...if you are looking for a charity to donate to, there are MANY that deal with families of deployed soldiers, but www.hugahero.org allows you to help provide needy dependents with Daddy (or Mommy) Dolls! Anything that helps out deployed families is top notch in my book!
