Sam's First Portraits

Sam was incredibly proud to show me these pictures when I picked her up from school yesterday...so proud that her teachers had to come tell me too! When I saw them I told her I love them. I said "you make the best silly faces in the world!" She draws these faces all the time and calls them "silly faces." She looked at me like I was silly for not knowing what they really were, and she said, "No Mommy, those aren't silly faces...that's YOU and DADDY!!!"
