Madison gets surgery

Madison had her tonsils and adenoids removed, and tubes in her ears again on Wednesday. She seems to be fine now (with the exception of when she coughs), but yesterday was really rough. She had the surgery early early in the morning and at 6:30pm she still hadn't had anything to drink or gone to the potty. They told me at the hospital that I had to push a ton of fluids these first few days, but she wouldn't take anything, not her medicine, no ice cream/popsicles/juice/etc. We were afraid that we would have to take her to the ER if she didn't take anything the rest of that evening...but Daddy to the rescue...he got her to eventually take her medicine, then juice and an ice pop! YAY Daddy!!!
Oh, by the way...I had to be called into recovery because as she was waking up from anesthesia she starting throwing huge fits. By the time I got in there they had the pads up over the railings and the nurses told me "we have a fighter on our hands" and they told me she may have bruises from all of her fighting! Poor little thing! haha
