We spent Easter weekend in Lufkin again this year. Greg wasn't able to make it...yet again. He was flying the aircraft down to the port to ship them to Afghanistan. They were delayed due to weather, so they were forced to skip yet another holiday weekend off just before deploying. No, I'm not bitter at all!
The girls were simply adorable. My babies are growing so fast, all three of them.
The girls racked up again for Easter! Between the Grandparents and Mommy, they got a ton of goodies. Greg just called it the "Christmas bunny!" HAHA
Sam had just had her surgery 3 days prior, so while she was starting to get around just fine, she still wasn't eating. So, she loved finding Easter eggs, but she didn't eat a single one of them, even when
Mommy & Amah the Easter Bunny made sure to just use soft chocolate/treats. Madi did much better with the egg hunt this year. Last year Madi would find one egg, then stop, open it, eat what's in it, dance around, then move on. This year she figured it out! Sam didn't worry about what was in her eggs this year either. We laughed so hard last year when she would find an egg, pick it up, shake it, and if she didn't hear anything she would throw it back! They crack me up!
Anyway, we had a great Easter again, even though we weren't able to spend it with Daddy...again.
